    1. Hi, my 42 yr old daughter has been in the hospital over 3 wks. She was diagnosed with sepsis, several bacterial & candida glabrata. She had abscesses in her liver which is tbe source. She also has late stage pancreatic cancer. She’s on an oral vadopresser to keep her heart rate/Bp up. Other complications is her altered anatomy from a Roux en y, the need for blood thinners due to blood clot formation (one in her lung which caused a sm. PE), and serious pain issues, requiring multiple pain meds. Between all the meds for bacteria, which are not showing up in blood cultures, but are still in her abdominal cavity, and antifungals, this has contributed to her swelling. They are using diretics and so far it recently started pulling fluids off of her feet and calves, but her belly is so swollen. About 2 weeks ago, they did a paracentesis of her abdomin, pulling over 2 liters of fluid off, but that was temporary. She seems to be sleeping more and more. Any advice you can give is appreciated.
