A 9 years old female child (identification number- 4064) visited our clinic with complaint of skin infection i.e there were small painless bumps or eruptions on the skin. These small bumps were present on her chest, abdomen, arms and face. She showed us her skin affected with eruptions, which is more on face and arms. 

On skin examination, our doctors noticed a dome shaped eruption with dimple in the middle which was filled with some waxy material therefore diagnosed as Molluscum contagiosum.

She had itching on the eruptions which aggravates while scratching. Her mother commented that once she started scratching over the skin for some relief, but instead of feeling better her itching got worse like anything, then she used to rub it.

Patient took an allopathic treatment for these eruptions but find no marked changes, so she stopped taking allopathic medication.
