A 19 year Medical student from Mumbai contacted on 6th May 2018 us via website and wanted his query’s answer. Our team of doctors reached out and helped with his query. He had blurred vision and occasional diplopia and tenderness. He was studying in 2nd year Medical college. Our doctors advised him to get his eyesight checked and when he did he was diagnosed with Keratoconus. It was just the beginning. He reported that he had habit of reading in poor light which used to irritate his eyes and he had habit of rubbing his eyes rigorously.He initially thought it was some allergy so he did not may much attention.

Our doctors studied his case and prescribed him medication. It was explained to him that he should avoid rubbing his eyes and read in proper light.

He called on 6th June 2018 and reported that his eyes were better as there was no pain and tenderness. He had tried to avoid rubbing his eyes. He was advised to put lubricant eye drops. Our doctors upgraded his medicines with higher dosage.
