A 33 yrs. old female patient (identification number) from Chandigarh visited our clinic on 18 Dec 2018.She had been suffering from fissure-in-ano for 1 year, after her second delivery. She complained of pain anal region with bleeding .The pain was felt during and after passing stools and remained for half an hour; she had a sensation of swelling in the anal region with cutting and pricking type of pain during evacuation .She had a history of chronic constipation .Patient had hard, lumpy stool and she had to strain during defecation.
She had tried allopathic and ayurvedic medicines for her problem but no relief.
Patient was happily married and had sedentary lifestyle as she was working as a manager in private bank. Her dietary habits were normal but she skips her meals due to busy schedule.
Our doctors prescribed her medicine for 20 days and advised her to drink plenty of fluids to avoid constipation and inculcate fiber rich diet.
On her second follow-up there was no specific change. She continued with the treatment.
