A 21 years female patient (Identification number- 39579) visited our clinic with a complaint of Morphea on her right side of body. On examination it was noted that her skin was affected with Morphea, which was more on her right side of herbody that was on her ear, back, leg or arm.
Our doctors noticed a marked discoloration on her skin, patches were dark and causes skin to look like a blackish in appearance.
Her skin was very tight on touch along with hardening. She had itching on the patches, which aggravated while scratching. She commented that once she started scratching over the skin for some relief she just could not stop, which worsened her case.
She had Hair loss on the affected area and there was no sweating on the patches along with dryness of skin. She felt that once her skin stretched she could have cuts over the skin, due of severe dryness.
