    What is rabies?

    Rabies is a viral infection which is preventable and is mainly spread by infected animals. Victims affected with rabies are known of becoming agitated at the sight of seeing water, so also called hydrophobia.

    Rabies virus transmission is mainly through bite (saliva) of an infected animal.
