    What is Hematuria?

    Presence of red blood cells in urine is called Hematuria. BIt can be associated with painful urination, abdominal or pelvic pain, pus in the urine, or other symptoms, depending upon the cause. Hematuria can be:

    • Microscopic hematuria –in which red blood cells are visible under a microscope

    • Macroscopic hematuria-in which blood is visible in the urine

    What causes Hematuria?

    There are many conditions that can cause hematuria most of them are not life-threatening –
